The Selma City Council held a special called meeting on Wednesday and approved five resolutions.

-A purchase order for Allen Construction for $31,050 for the new sidewalk and sidewalk repair on Woodrow Avenue; 

-An emergency order to purchase vehicles for the Selma Police Department;

-Allowing the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) to affix American flags along Broad Street and Dallas Avenue for designated holidays: Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July;

-Authorization to award Demolition Services for Selma FEMA Disaster 4684 DR-AL; and

-Award bid for Bloch Park to Steward Construction in the amount of over $399,000.
