The Central Alabama Fair returns to Selma this week.

We’ve always regarded the fair as a highly-anticipated Social Event that Selma and Dallas County residents attend every year, between high school and college football games.

We applaud the Lions Club for hosting the fair over the last 60 years.  Russell Haskell, the Lions Club’s Central Fair Manager, deserves a lot of the credit.

The Selma Rotary Club will be in their usual post selling Cozy Dogs during the entire week. 

We thank the Safe Harbor Women’s Medical Clinic, for hosting a community Safety Trunk or Treat event 1on Sunday.

We expect Selma and Dallas County residents will enjoy the fair this week.
