TW’s Dream Team wins Wild Game Cook Off

The TW’s Dream Team was the overall winner at the Selma Alabama Wildlife Federation Wild Game Cook Off on Oct. 19 at ArtsRevive.
The team of Brian Monk, Joe Austin, Blake Willis and David Hamilton took first place with Water Delight and also won the Fish Category.
Second vice president Tim Wood said he was happy with the turnout and competition. Over 1,000 attended the event for a second straight year and ten cook teams competed.
Woods said this is his last year overseeing the event. Davis Henry, owner of Henry Brick, will oversee the Wild Game Cook Off next year.
“Tim did a great job, I’m looking forward to it,” Henry said.
Full Gown BBQ, with Matthew Smyly, took first place in the Fowl Category with Wild Turkey Stuffed Peppers.
Buttmasters, with Tommy Criswell, won the Game Category with Q T Burritos.
Hancock’s BBQ, with the team of Emily Hancock, David Small, Mary Hicks and Gee Martin, won Best Presentation.
