Four Dallas County schools qualified for the Area AHSAA Volleyball Tournament.

Keith, Southside, Dallas County and Selma all start opening-round play on the road. Tournament play begins Wednesday.

Southside plays Sumter Central in a Area 6, Class 3A semifinal contest on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. with the winner facing host Greensboro in the finals at 6:30 p.m.

Dallas County faces Wilcox Central in a Area 3, Class 4A semifinal at 5 p.m., while host LAMP meets the winner in the finals at 6 p.m.

Selma faces Demopolis in a Area 6, Class 5A semifinal contest at 3 p.m. Thursday, with the winner facing host Montgomery Academy at 4:15 p.m.

In the Area 6, Class 1A semifinals, Keith plays R.C. Hatch at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at University Charter. University Charter faces Linden at 4:30 p.m. The tournament finals will be at 7 p.m.

The top two teams in each Area goes to a Regional tournament in either Montgomery or Huntsville. The Top four teams from Regional tournaments qualify for the State Championship tournament in Birmingham.
