Oktoberfest Celebration is regarded as one of the top fall events by Selma and Dallas County residents.

The annual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 905 Gallery.

We’re more impressed that Oktoberfest provides another outlet for local artists to get together and celebrate.

We also applaud Arts Revive and Blackbelt Benefit Group for working together to co-sponsor Oktoberfest. 

Artist Jo Taylor said it’s the local businesses and artists that make Oktoberfest a great event.

We’re always glad to see multiple organizations for a common cause. We would like to see this kind of teamwork in other events.
