• The Museum of African and Contemporary Art Selma (MACAS) is hosting a “Museum Without Walls” series next in October.

The event will be held Oct. 8 from 2-5 p.m. on 1223 Water Avenue.  The event is free to the public.

Aarop Roper, who’s running the event, said that attendees can expect the following an African food tasting stations, African music, community and connection to the African culture.

“MACAS will be building on our commitment to celebrating African culture and heritage,” Roper said. “We are proud to present an equally captivating experience for our community.”

Nicholas Buamah, a 12-year-old author, motivational speaker, and philanthropist, will be the special guest for the event.
