The Dallas County Commission will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new administrative building on Sept. 27 at 11 a.m.
Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn said the community is invited to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The County Commission purchased the old Regions Bank on Church Street in January 2021.
“After renovations by CRL Lovelady Construction, we are finally to a point of opening the building to the public,” Nunn said.
The tag department, Tax Collector’s office, Tax Assessor’s office, driver license department, human resources and the County Commission office have moved into the new building.
“We are excited that the public will be able to see their tax dollars at work,” Nunn said. “All of the departments mentioned here-in have already moved into the new building. And any of the services needed by these new departments will be handled at the new administrative building.”
