Mildred Martin Mason passed away on Sept. 18 at the age of 75.  She was born in Selma on April 20, 1948 to the late Thomas Monroe Martin, Jr. and Miriam “Chick” Moore Martin. 

She is preceded in death by her son Jimmy Hodges Ellis, Jr.  She is survived  by her husband John Mason, son, Charles Allen Wilkinson, II (Misty), sister, Bobbie Martin Morthland (Richard), grandchildren, John Martin Ellis (Alaina), Elizabeth “Lizzy”  Ellis Pardue (Russell),  Allie Wilkinson, Martin Wilkinson and numerous great grandchildren and nephews.

Services will be at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 309 Washington Street in Selma, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m, with Father Steve Hornat officiating with interment to follow at Plantersville Christian Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Plantersville Christian Church
