Quarterback Aveon Young threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more as Keith beat Dallas County 48-20 on Friday at Martin Field in Plantersville.

Sederrion Reuben ran for over 150 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the unbeaten Bears (2-0). Malcolm Jones also scored twice for Keith, who visit Linden next week.

Cedrick Simmons scored all three touchdowns for the Hornets (0-1), who visit Sipsey Valley next Friday.

Morgan Academy 30, Valiant Cross 21: Speedie Pernell scored two touchdowns as the Senators (1-0) won their first game of the year.

Milton Hand caught a touchdown pass from Cadien Tellier, who scored on a pair of two point conversions and threw a two-pointer to Pernell. Tellier passed for 131 yards and ran for 85 more

Rhett Thomas also scored for the Senators rushing for 79 yards.

Hand had 63 yards receiving and nine total tackles. Ryall King had 11 total tackles Jack Johnson had eight total tackles.

Morgan Academy visits Lee-Scott next Friday.

Meadowview Christian School did not play Trinity Christian this week.

Trojans coach John Treherne said there was a conflict in scheduling. MCS plays next Friday at Springwood Christian.
