Final part of Selma art Camp concludes next week

The Selma Art Camp will conclude next week at Charlie “Tinman” Lucas Studio.
The dates for the second half of the camp will be held July 10-14. Times for the section will be Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, 9 .a.m.-Noon.
Lunch and snacks will be included. Fee for the entire week will be $150 per child and enrollment is first come first serve.
Kids must be 8 years old and up.
Program director Candi Duncan said participants will be able to get their hands involved with ceramics, wood sculpture, domestic arts and weaving.
The camp is presented by the Selma-Dallas County Historic Preservation Society and Charlie Lucas Tin Man Studio.
The non-refundable fee to attend is $150.
For years, the Art Camp was held at Dallas Academy until 2018. Since then, it was relocated to local renowned artist Charlie “Tin Man” Lucas’ studio
Lucas is considered by many as one of the best-known artists in Selma.
