Rep. Prince Chestnut comes through again for the City of Selma on Thursday.

Chestnut presented Selma City Schools Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd and the school district with a $1.75 million check to help with the continuing rebuilding from the January 12 tornado.

We also applaud the efforts of Minority Leader Anthony Daniels, Minority Caucus Chair Barbra Drummond, and Rep. Kelvin Lawrence, who all assisted Chestnut in this endeavor.

We’re grateful to have Prince Chestnut for always looking out for Selma and Dallas County.
