Former Selma High Football Coach Will Gandy will be on the move next season after being named the new Assistant Football Coach at Demopolis. He will join the new assistant coach and former Morgan Academy Head Baseball Coach Stephen Clements in leading the Tigers. The Tigers last year went 10-2 and 5-0 in conference according to MaxPreps. Gandy led the Saints last year to a 7-4 overall record and 4-1 in conference record.

Gandy said he has loved the last four years in Selma and for the memories he had as the head coach.

“I am forever Thankful to Saints Nation, I want to thank Principal Prichett and his administration team, teachers, and parents for the last 4 years that I have served as the Head Football Coach at Selma High School,” Gandy said. “I am grateful to all the assistant coaches that have helped me on this journey. To all the players, continue pushing and striving for excellence both on and off the field.”
