The Selma Housing Authority held a Landlord Symposium at Wallace Community College-Selma last month.

Property owners in the Dallas and Wilcox county area learn about the opportunities to assist low-income families with housing.

SHA CEO Kennard Randolph said the event was an opportunity to learn about assisting low-income families with housing.

“It provided property owners a great opportunity to expand their rental portfolio while offering adequate housing for families under Section 8, especially those impacted by the recent tornado.,” Randolph said. “We currently have many vouchers for families on the waiting list. We need more landlords to help address this housing crisis.”
