The UAB Epiphany program will be having a Health Fair at New Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marion Junction on Saturday, January 14 from 10 a.m. until noon.

The UAB Epiphany study has partnered with New Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church to help lower rates of high blood pressure among black men and women in the Black Belt region.

The study for adults aged 19 or older, who are not taking blood pressure medications and who have not been diagnosed with high blood pressure.

Enrolled participants may be partnered with a trained peer coach to offer one-on-one support on ways to prevent high blood pressure.
