The Selma Police Department will have its annual  Christmas Toy Giveaway on Tuesday at the Selma Police Athletic League.

The event will be held from 2-4 p.m. Toys will be given away. Food will also be served.  The toys are for kids ages 12 and under.

Detective Dorothy Cowan, Executive Director of Selma PAL, said it’s important to show the Christmas spirit.

“We’re giving toys away because it’s Christmas and we want to make every child smile,” Cowan said. “The toys are not just for our children, but for the whole community.”
