ALEA investigating Tuesday morning fatality

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning where a person was killed.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. Tuesday, on Alabama 14 near the 120-mile marker, approximately four miles east of Selma.
The crash occurred when a 2013 GMC Acadia left the roadway, struck a guardrail, a tree and caught fire. The identity of the driver is pending confirmation from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
No further details are available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
