Funeral services are scheduled for November 5, 2022, 1pm at New Sister Spring Baptist Church officiated by Karl L. Lewis. Burial in New Sister Spring Baptist Church directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc., Selma, AL.

She was preceded in death by spouse, Deyampert Fikes, Sr.; brothers, Willie James, Raymond Shannon and sister, Emma Likely. Survivors include: five sons, Thomas, Britt, Deyampert, Larry and Jermaine Fikes; five daughters, Jeanette, Mandy, Fannie, Alean, Jackie; brother, Herman Shannon; two sisters in-law, Betty Jean Shannon, Joann Shannon; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
