The Valley Grande City Council continues to work on fixing the fence at Valley Grande Ball Park.
Council members Jane Harris and Bruce Hughes are working on the issue.
Harris said she spoke with Jimmy Morrow about the fence and liabilities that come with a gate sensor, especially if a person gets injured either opening or closing the fence.
Morrow suggested to have some physically close the gate at night and open the gate by sensor the following morning.
During the council discussion, Hughes suggested having a pressure sensor installed.
Valley Grande Mayor Wayne Labbe said once the sensor is installed, they will contact the insurance company for further guidance on the situation.
The Valley Grande City Council will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at Valley Grande City Hall.
