Jannie Venter is postponing her 49th Radio Anniversary because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The self-proclaimed “Mother of the Airwaves” usually holds her anniversary the second weekend of September.

Venter is asking pastors, churches, businesses, listeners, family and friends for donations. She spoke at a recent Selma City Council meeting.
