Selma man arrested for shooting at Johnny’s Package store

A Selma man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a shooting at Johnny’s Package Store.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said that Steven Williams was charged with shooting Johnny Wagon.
Fulford said that the Selma Police Department officers responded to a shooting Wednesday afternoon at the block of 123 U.S Highway 80 East, the location of Johnny’s Package Store.
The SPD identified the victim as Johnny Wagon. Fulford said that Wagon was shot in the right knee.
Fulford said that Williams was arrested for the shooting and charged with first-degree assault. His bond is $30,000.
