For their efforts in the 2022 softball season, 25 student-athletes earned recognition via nomination to The Selma Times-Journal’s All-Dallas County team.

Dallas County High School led the way with five players. Selma High School, Keith High School and Morgan Academy each nominated four players. Ellwood Christian and Meadowview Christian rounded out the squad with two nominations apiece.

Nominations for the All-County team were made by head coaches and athletic directors in the Times-Journal’s coverage area, while placement was determined by statistics, if provided, and overall team performance.

Due to a disproportionate amount of nominations at infielder, catcher and pitcher positions versus outfielders nominated, not every player from the former group nominated as a first-teamer was able to be slotted as a first-teamer.
