Leo was a role model to all and will be dearly missed. His service to the United States Postal Service and Army will forever be remembered as a sacrifice and pure example of his selflessness and thought for others. Leo was a retired US Postmaster that served for 45 years with a grateful heart. He proudly served as a cryptographer in Japan with the 8th Army Headquarters. Leo was a loyal and trusting friend, constantly putting others before himself, a selfless individual who enjoyed putting a smile on other people’s face, always knew the right words to say in a moment and very well-spoken with those exact words, busted with laughter, and a lively man who exemplified the ways and words of Jesus Christ. He was a leader who inspired so many people around him. Leo was wholeheartedly the most passionate man about Auburn University and their respective sports. You could find him every Saturday on the Plains with a shaker in his hand. He will always and forever bleed orange and blue — he is chanting War Eagle right now with Jesus. Leo will be missed by many, but his legacy and memory will forever live in those he loved.
