Selma woman dies in 3-vehicle crash in Autauga County

A Selma woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Autauga County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Esther Bivins, 75, was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda Odyssey she drove crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2021 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Cindy M. Rabon, 63, of Bay Minette.
After the initial collision, a 2020 Ford T150 Transit van, driven by Brad L. Bostick, 51, of Prattville, struck the rear of the Freightliner. Bivins was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 14 near the 135 mile marker, in Autauga County, approximately four miles west of Autaugaville around 2:05 p.m. Tuesday.
No further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
