More than a dozen Selma firefighters battle nine-structure blaze

The Selma Fire Department successfully extinguished multiple fires on Friday morning.
Around 4 a.m. Friday morning, the SFD responded to the 1200 Block of Union and Duke St for reports of multiple structure fires. The SFD put out a combined nine structures, three occupied and six unoccupied fires.
The fires were extinguished by 14 Selma fire fighters and a Selma/Dallas county rescue squad member over a span of four hours.
According to the SFD, no one was hurt or injured reported during the fire.
