Law Enforcement and First Responders honored at Northside Baptist

Northside Baptist Church hosted its annual Law Enforcement and First Responders Appreciation Day last week.
Six heroes were honored at the event: Devin Brewer (DCSO), Ray Blanks (SPD), Jason Walker, (State Troopers), Tarrance Lee (SFD), Danny Wallace (EMS) and Robert Rose (Volunteer Fire Department).
Dallas County Sheriff Office, Selma Police Department, Selma Fire Department, volunteer fire fighters and first responders were treated to a dinner of spaghetti, salad, hot dogs and assorted desserts.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford, Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum, Selma City Councilwomen Jannie Thomas, Valley Grande City Councilman Robbie Rose and Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn all attended the event.
“This is a wonderful event,” Jannie Thomas said.
