William Dawson Sr., resident of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Selma, passed away November 30, 2021. Dawson was born in Selma on May 20, 1946 to the late Charlie Dawson and Fannie Mae Dawson. William departed this earth to join his heavenly father on November 30, 2021 at 3:34 a.m. while hospitalized in the West Los Angeles V.A. Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife Roberta (Lois) Dawson, one son, three daughters, 4 grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, sister/brother in law and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and the classmates of the 1964 class of the historic R.B. Hudson High School in Selma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28 at the Atherton Baptist Church in Hawthorne, California.
