Dallas County High School received a threat from outside the school property on Friday afternoon.
According to Dallas County Schools Superintendent Hattie Shelton, a person called up to Dallas County High School and threaten to shoot up the school.
Shelton said the Dallas County Sheriff Office sent out deputies and the situation was handled.
“I was there to make sure this matter was taken care of,” Shelton said.
This is the second incident involving Dallas County schools since school began in August.
A teenager brought a gun to campus on August 9, the first day of school. DCHS officials discovered a student had a gun on campus through a school video camera.
No one was hurt in either incident.
