Roosevelt Boykin, 80, passed away on October 18, 2021 in Yuma, Arizona. He was born May 3, 1941 in Selma to John Boykin and Tanzy Gould. Mr. Boykin retired from the US Army. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Boykin, Jr.

He is survived by his wife: Cleopatra H. Boykin (Howard), Sons: Anthony Boykin (Austell) & Mathis Boykin (LaGrange), Daughter: Vanessa Kerney (Smyrna), Sisters: Lucinda Smart (Selma) & Johnnie Mae Alexander (Selma), Sister in-law: Rosalie Bradley-Boykin (Pensacola), 5 Grandchildren and special cousin, Josie Mae Lewis. Graveside Service will be held on Monday October 25, 2021 at 10 a.m.  at Sunset Vista Funeral Home and Cemetery.
