George C. Webb age 79 of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.

He was born in Potter’s Station on August 13, 1942 to the late Henry Webb, Sr. and the late Wilma Fain Webb.

George retired from R.L. Zeigler Company after many faithful years of service in the shipping department. He served his country patriotically in the United States Air Force and enjoyed being a member of the American Legion, Thomas R. Mackin Post 20. He was a proud member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Selma and was devoted to the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Marie Hirt Webb; children, Mandy Webb Cox (Christopher) and Cory Webb; brother-in-law, Frank Hirt (Gail); sister-in-law, Evelyn Hirt; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Wilma Webb; and siblings, Henry Webb, Jr., Jimmy Webb, and Benny Stone.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Selma.
