Dallas County, Selma, Southside, Keith advance in Regionals

Dallas County, Keith, Selma and Southside won first-round Sub-Regional basketball games.
Victor Milhouse Jr. scored 20 points as Keith hammered Maplesville 63-40.
Keith 63, Maplesville 40: The Bears had balanced scoring besides Milhouse’s hot shooting.
Tommy Tisdale III added 16 points and Terrell Lumpkin scored 14 for the Bears, who visit Millry on Friday.
Dallas County 89, Booker T. Washington 53: The fourth-ranked Hornets cruised as Dee Ellis scored 24 points, Carlton Underwood added 20 and Fredrico Tyre 15. The Hornets visit Geneva on Friday.
Selma 63, Marbury 34: The Saints jumped out to a fast start and never looked back. Selma visits LeFlore on Friday.
Southside 65, Monroe County 64: The Panthers survived on the road as Christopher Thomas scored 15 points. Tre Towns added 13 points. Jaylen Kennedy and Tae Spears scored 12 each, Barrian Moorer added 11 for the Panthers, who will host Hillcrest-Evergreen on Friday.
Marbury girls 58, Selma 53: The eighth-ranked Lady Selma were eliminated in round one of the Class 5A Sub-Regional. Sarryah Pope led the Lady Saints with 15 points, Alexias Walker added 14.Aeraeonna Manuel had 11.
Selma (8-4) finished with consecutive losses, including the Area 7, Class 5A tournament finals.
