The Selma Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff Office worked together to charge a Dallas County man for attempted burglary at the PNC Bank.
According to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford, the incident occurred Sunday. Fulford said the suspect in question is Christopher Rodgers, an African-American male.
“Twenty one officers responded to 9 Broad Street in reference to the alarm activation,” Fulford said. “Upon arrival, officers noticed the front glass shattered off the business. Christopher Rodgers was seen inside the business and taken into custody by Selma officers with the assistance of the Dallas County Sheriff Department.”
Fulford said Rodgers is currently in the Dallas County Jail and on $30,000 bond.
