Dallas County Sheriff Office, Selma Police Department investigating shootings

The Dallas County Sheriff Office (DCSO) and Selma Police Department (SPD) are each investigating separate shootings that occurred in their districts over the last week.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, two people got shot in a big fight after domestic violence beating that led to gunfight on Sept. 30 in Orrville.
Jackson said no one was arrested and the DCSO is investigating the incident.
Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night, a 16-year-old black male was shot twice in the area of Lawrence Street and Water Avenue.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said the victim’s injuries aren’t life threatening. He also said there are no suspects at this time and the shooting remains under investigation.
