Meadowview Christian returns to action, falls at home
Meadowview Christian School returned to action after being off two because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Choctaws remained winless, falling to Sparta 41-0 on Friday at Wasden Stadium.
MCS falls to 0-4, including two forfeit losses over the last couple of weeks.
A Trojan player tested positive for the coronavirus, leading to the canceled contests.
MCS coach and headmaster Bob Taylor made no excuses about the Trojans’ performance after a 14-day layoff.
The Trojans trailed 21-0 in the first half and it went down from there.
“The kids played hard after being off the last two weeks,” Taylor said. “We are working to try and improve each week.”
MCS will host Lakeside next Friday night at 7 p.m. at Wadsen Stadium.
