No. 2 Bibb County hammers Dallas County, 69-28

Dallas County continues to search for its first victory of the season.
Second-ranked Bibb County was as good as advertised, cruising to a 69-28 victory over Dallas County on Friday night at Martin Field in Plantersville.
The Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season and have lost four straight dating back to last season.
The Choctaws, ranked No. 2 in Class 5A, jumped out to a 21-8 lead after one quarter.
Bibb County (3-0) exploded for 29 points in the second quarter, holding a commanding 50-22 halftime lead.
The Hornets scored 16 points in the second quarter and at one time trailed 21-16.
But the Choctaws outscored Dallas County 29-6 for a comfortable advantage.
“Our guys played an amazing game,” LeVert said. “Bibb County is a very good football team with the ability to do some special things this year.
Marquavious Pullom had a pick-six, Joshua Brown scored a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Rick Tyre. Calvin Griffin also scored.
Dallas County travels to Wilcox Central next in Camden. Wilcox Central may not play. They’ve already canceled contests against Keith High and Holt High in Tuscaloosa this season.
