Dallas County drops season opener at Helena
Dallas County dropped its season opener, falling to Helena 43-0 on Friday night at Husky Stadium.
The Huskies (1-0) have never lost to Dallas County, winning all three meetings by lopsided scores. Helena won their first meeting 28-0 in 2014 and 31-7 a year later.
The Huskies jumped out to a 36-0 halftime lead and scored three rushing touchdowns. Helena also scored a passing touchdown and returned a kickoff for another score.
Dallas County (0-1) will visit McAdory next week.
The Hornets are coming off a 4-6 campaign, which they earned a Class 4A state playoff berth.
