Fredrick D. Harrell, Sr., 60, resident of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020, noon at West Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory Reese officiating. Burial to follow in Pineview Memory Gardens directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc. He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest J. Harrell, Sr. and Pinkie W. Harrell; sister, Ada Grace Harris; brother, Ernest J. Harrell, Jr. and nephew, Justin Underwood. Survivors include: spouse, Diane G. Harrell; four sons, Eric Hobby, Fredrick D. Harrell, Jr., Jamarcus Hatcher (all of Birmingham), Derrick Smith of Selma, ; two daughters, Uniti Harrell and Jamiyah Tolbert of Birmingham, one sister, Pinkie Harrell Platt; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, 12 nieces, 16 nephews and cousins.
