The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are investigating a robbery that took place this week at the Dollar General store in Valley Grande.

The burglary happened at around 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Valley Grande Dollar General, according to Alabama CrimeStoppers.

A surveillance video shows the suspect shake a shelf and shove several items into a bag, then fled the scene.

The DCSO is requesting any information that leads to the identity and location of the subject in the attached video surveillance footage.  They should call either the DCSO or Crimestoppers at 215-STOP or 1-833-AL1-STOP.

A tip may lead to a cash award as high as $5,000.
