An upcoming Lunch at the Library event will have three New York Times bestselling authors at the Selma-Dallas County Public Library.

Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig and Karen White will all be at the library on Tuesday, March 31, to discuss their latest book, “All the Ways We Said Goodbye: A Novel of the Ritz Paris.”

Their latest work is one of several the authors have penned together and, according to Selma – Dallas County Public Library Director Becky Nichols, the three writers are excited that Selma is on their itinerary as they promote their newest book.

The novel from the team of authors tells the story of three women whose paths intersect during World War I, World War II and in the 60s at the Ritz Paris.

“There is no doubt that storytelling releases some of its best magic when master tellers come together,” said Nichols. “Plots are shared, characters are created, emotions swell and action begins. You enter the story of three women connected through time, love, heartbreak and war with the Ritz Paris as their silent witness.”

“We are looking forward to meeting these authors here at the library, sharing a meal and hearing their insights into life and, most of all, how they created this amazing story,” said Nichols.

Tickets for the Lunch at the library event are $10 and reservations can be made by calling the library at 334-874-1725 or by emailing dana@selmalibrary.org.
