Ms. Dorothy Evans, age 74, resident of Selma, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Blue Ridge Healthcare. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Booker T. Booker officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include: son; Charles (ShaWanda) Evans; daughter, Sheila Evans (Tellie); brothers; Walter Evans and Earl Evans; sisters, Katherine (Harold) Obie, Jacqueline Davis, Aurelia (Charles) Craig; aunt, Deloris Redmond; special cousin, Ethel Jackson; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends; Hannah (Edward) Grayson, Marienna Richardson, Laura Quarles and Coach Willie Maxey.
