All About Our Kids Daycare Center is getting ready to celebrate its 20th Anniversary .
After 20 years caring for the children of the community, the organization is ready to express its gratitude to the preschool’s parents and students with a 20-year celebration.
“It’s just our way to give back to everyone who has supported us,” said All About Our Kids Head Teacher Felicia Jackson.
In order to fund its upcoming celebration All About Our Kids is holding a Fish Fry Fundraiser tomorrow, Friday 13, from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
$7 buys a fish sandwich and $8 buys a plate of fish and grits.
“Every dime will go toward our 20th Celebration,” said Jackson.
The money collected will be used to fund things like inflatables, food, drinks, and a pony ride for the upcoming celebration.
Jackson says she hopes to have speakers at the event for parents to hear from as well like Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn and other elected officials.
All About Our Kids doesn’t hold the fundraiser ever year, but when they do, the community’s reaction is always a positive one, According to Jackson.
“Everyone loves the food,” said Jackson. “Whenever we hold this [fundraiser] people always ask us when we’re going to have it again. It’s something everyone looks forward to.”
