Mr. James May Jr., 83, of Selma, passed away August 15, 2019 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2019, noon at Second Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Minter officiating. Burial will follow in Lily Grove Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his wife, Mattie May; sons, Christopher (Claudette) Benson, Steve Benson; stepson, David (Lillie) Smith; brothers, Thomas May and Nathaniel May; sisters, Mary Harris, Sarah McQuay, Rosetta May; brother-in-law, Rev. Frank Smith; sisters-in-law, Nellie Strong and Nancy (Henry) Crawford; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three aunts; host of nieces, nephews and friends.
