The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is searching for two men who robbed a Marathon gas store last week.

According to DCSO Capt. Johnathan Colee, the men robbed the Marathon gas station and convenience store, located on the 4100 block of Highway 80 East in Selmont. Cole said that the robbery took place on the morning of Aug. 6.

According to Cole, the two men wore ski masks, entered the store with a gun and demanded money. The robbery was captured on video by the store surveillance system. According to the DCSO, several rounds were fired. A projectile found in the cashier’s car will be submitted for analysis.

Cole said the investigation is still pending.

“We haven’t gotten more additional leads, we’re at a stalemate,” Cole said. “We have two investigators working on the case.”
