Leadership Class 26 inducted at breakfast

Selma – Dallas County Leadership inaugurated its 26th class with a Kick-off Breakfast on Friday morning at the Wallace Community College – Selma (WCCS) Hank Sanders Building.

The 19 members of class 26 had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Raji Gourdine, Assistant Dean of Instruction at WCCS and a graduate of Selma – Dallas County Leadership Class 4.

“My dream is that Leadership Selma-Dallas County can be the impetus to help so many groups of leaders carve a new path,” said Gourdine

Gourdine added that he, personally, learned a lot about Selma and all of its resources.

Nathan Bullard, one of the new members of class 26, hopes that he too will learn more about Selma during his time in the Leadership program.

“I just moved here back in February- My wife and I we were called to Selma from Baldwin County,” said Bullard. “I just want to know more about Selma, as a whole.”

The 19 members of Selma – Dallas County Leadership Class 26 are Bernice Austin, Nathan Bullard, Shelene Connell, Laura Donovan, Stormy Eply, Cindy Fisher, Sandra Freine, Grindal Harris, Elizabeth Jones, Michial Lewis, Mark Myles, Mawiyah Patten, Jesunta Phillips, Dakota Punzel, Kennard Randolph, Peter Riley, Stephen Smith, Mamie Solomon and Randy Williams.
