At Monday evening’s Dallas County Commission meeting, Commissioner Valerie Reubin announced she’ll host a community meeting on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting, set to take place at Summer Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 420 Twenty foot Ave S, is for the residents of Indian Avenue, Main Street, West Drive, North Avenue, Twenty Foot, Henry Street, Pin Oak Drive, Hope Street, Freedom Place and all other streets in between.

According to Reubin, the meeting is a way to address the concerns and answer the questions of the citizens who live in the community.

During her commissioner report, Reubin encouraged those who live in the area to attend the meeting and bring a neighbor.

“This will be an opportunity for everyone to come out and voice their concerns,” said Reubin.
