Mr. Hug McCary, 85, of Plantersville, passed away May 28, 2019 at Blue Ridge Nursing Facility. Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2019,  noon at Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Plantersville with the Rev. Curtis McCary officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Grove Churchyard with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Mamie McCary; sons, Michael (Dorothy) McCary, Carl (Angie) McCary, Stanley (Shelia) McCary, Curtis (Andrea) McCary, Lawrence (Sonja) McCary, and Tim (Airel) McCary; daughters, Floretta (Frank) Brown and Diane (Elbert) Simon; brother, S.J. McCary; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
