Jean Hale Rimmer, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Rimmer and parents, Robert L. and Edith Hale and brother, John Allen Hale.

Surviving are her children, Richard M. (Karlene) Boozer, Jr. and Deborah Boozer (Robert W.) Brown; five step-children; grandchildren, Jim Boozer and Jennie Brown; thirteen step- grandchildren and six step- great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Selma Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Steve Kopp officiating.  Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Boozer, Bobby Brown, Jim Boozer, John Brian Hale, John Lackeos and Jesse Sanchez.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Memorial Methodist Church, 2150 Broad Street, Selma, Alabama 36701.
