“It’s undetermined which vehicle failed to yield the right of way, we’re trying to find witnesses who saw the accident,” FItts said.

Fitts said a black female was driving the Fiesta and a black man was driving the school bus. Fitts did not reveal their names.

Car Care Ambulance lifted the female out of the vehicle and took her to Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Fitts said he didn’t know the extent of her injuries. The bus driver wasn’t hurt and no students were on the bus.

The car was totaled and the bus only suffered a dented fender.

The SPD is investigating the accident.
