We are committed to continuing our path towards excellence and Pathway to Performance Excellence proves that we are indeed on the right path.”
The award is modeled after the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award and recognizes school system that have employed innovations to increase productivity and quality.
These efforts should include formal techniques and practices that can be shared with other organizations to be replicated elsewhere and contribute to state and national quality and productivity improvement.
The Alabama Performance Excellence Award is administered through the Alabama Performance Excellence Program in collaboration with the University of Alabama – Birmingham’s Schools of Health Profession, Business and Engineering.
The program is geared toward encouraging organizations to continually strive for excellence.
Selma City Schools will be recognized during the Alabama Performance Excellence Program’s Annual Conference and Banquet later this month.
