Mrs. Harriet Lillie Bandy Reynolds, 82, of Detroit, MI and a former resident of White Hall, passed away February 6, 2019, at Henry Ford Medical Center. Services are scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2019, 11 a.m. at Northwestern Christian Church Disciples of Christ with Pastor Claude Blackman officiating, Eulogy by Rev. Eugene James. Burial will follow in Greenlawn with Stinson Funeral Home, 1645 Myers Rd. Detroit, MI 48245 directing and Randall Miller Funeral Service announcing. Mrs. Reynolds graduated from R.B. Hudson in 1954. While at Hudson High, she was a member of the Dramatic Guild under the direction of Bertram Martin. Additionally, she earned the spot of valedictorian. “After being married to Harriett for the past 65 years, it seems like yesterday afternoon,” stated her husband, Percy Reynolds Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Sally Bandy; sister-in-law, Jessie Bandy; brother-in-law, Emmett Bowen. She is survived by her husband, Percy Reynolds, Jr.; two sons, Wellsman (Gayla) Reynolds and Percy B. (Lanette) Reynolds; two daughters, Michele Reynolds and Wendy Reynolds; two brothers, Willie Bandy and Moses A. Bandy; four sisters, Portia Bowen, Mary (Gene) McFadden, Johnnie S. (Herman) Phillips, and Julia (Wiliam) Scott (adopted); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one aunt, Mrs. Doshie Bandy; host of cousins, in-laws, and friends.
