On Sunday, the ArtsRevive will lead the public in a mural painting of the cement barricade that is on the corner of Church Street and Water Avenue.

This is a great chance to interact with the artists in our community that provide something different for the city.

Since its beginnings, the ArtsRevive has worked hard to bring a change to Selma. Their multiple projects are something that we should get behind.

It also is a chance for people who want to express their artistic talents to stay local.

There are talented people in Selma and Dallas County and their artistic talents should be supported by the public as they continue to finish their spring projects for this year.

Anyone who is available on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. should definitely come out and be part of this project.

It will give participants a sense of pride as they complete what will surely be a historic mural that generations will see and enjoy in the city.
